Firenze4ever2015

On the occasion of the event Firenze4ever 2015, Centro Studi Poltronova consolidates the relationship with Luisa Via Roma, true to the traditions of the company of creating new synergy between design, fashion and art.
Centro Studi participates in the event with its own distinctive features. Ultrafragola mirror by Ettore Sottsass and Passiflora by Superstudio. Exclusively for Luisa Via Roma Passiflora inspires two new soft and velvety flowers: Flò (H 23cm, L 24cm, D 33cm ) in yellow, white, pink and pale blue and Flora just in white (H 47cm, L 50cm, D 57cm).

Museo Novecento

Museo Novecento – a Florence museum entirely dedicated to Italian 20th Century Art – opened to the public today: exhibition and museum design are by Avatar-Architettura.
Centro Studi Poltronova is present in the collection of the museum with the reconstruction of the manifesto-exhibition “Superarchitettura” by Archizoom and Superstudio Radical architecture groups.
“Superarchitettura” exhibition – shown for the very first time in Pistoia, in 1966 – has been rebuilt in 2007 by Centro Studi Poltronova, under supervision by Gilberto Corretti (Archizoom Associati).

Moma

Recognizing that the object in our society often serves as a fetish, some designers underscore that the quality by assigning to their designs an explicitly ritualistic quality. The object is given sculptural form and conceived as an altarpiece for the domestic liturgy.

Passiflora

White body and yellow flower. Adolfo Natalini designed Passiflora, a diagonal cut at the base would give the object a pseudo natural state, somewhere between the artificial and the natural, in a playful game of illusion. It’s a floor lamp, Perspex, with white opaline body and yellow flower, and it’s named Passiflora. Born in 1966 as a part of the exhibition Superarchitettura – a manifesto for Radical Design, Passiflora keeps on making history.
