Cortona On The Move 2015

For the second consecutive year of cooperation with the Cortona On The Move festival, this edition’s protagonist is the Superstudio group, with the Sofo couch, in its original version with 1968 fabric and the Passiflora lamp, that in last few years has been revisited and is on our catalogue. There will also be Superonda by Archizoom, Joe by De Pas, D’Urbino, Lomazzi in denim version. The armchair Sly by Prospero Rasulo in aged leather and the love seat of the She series, made in the 90’s. For the Fortezza del Girifalco we made a special installation inspired by the Passiflora lamp.

Firenze4ever2015

On the occasion of the event Firenze4ever 2015, Centro Studi Poltronova consolidates the relationship with Luisa Via Roma, true to the traditions of the company of creating new synergy between design, fashion and art.
Centro Studi participates in the event with its own distinctive features. Ultrafragola mirror by Ettore Sottsass and Passiflora by Superstudio. Exclusively for Luisa Via Roma Passiflora inspires two new soft and velvety flowers: Flò (H 23cm, L 24cm, D 33cm ) in yellow, white, pink and pale blue and Flora just in white (H 47cm, L 50cm, D 57cm).

Museo Novecento

Museo Novecento – a Florence museum entirely dedicated to Italian 20th Century Art – opened to the public today: exhibition and museum design are by Avatar-Architettura.
Centro Studi Poltronova is present in the collection of the museum with the reconstruction of the manifesto-exhibition “Superarchitettura” by Archizoom and Superstudio Radical architecture groups.
“Superarchitettura” exhibition – shown for the very first time in Pistoia, in 1966 – has been rebuilt in 2007 by Centro Studi Poltronova, under supervision by Gilberto Corretti (Archizoom Associati).

Analogia Project

Analogia Project
by Andrea Mancuso ed Emilia Serra

June 18th 2013
SPAZIO GRID #01/02,
Borgo Ognissanti 28, Florence

Some iconic furniture of historical company Poltronova are sketched in the air by using black wool on a transparent threads web, creating an imaginary world that goes straight to your emotions. Chance upon a drawing in the air that traces the fine line between abstract thought and concrete reality. Analogia Project
explore the materialization of the imaginary using the simplest of materials – wool string. Starring projects by Ettore Sottsass, Ron Arad, Archizoom Associati, Superstudio.

Analogia Project is the result of a long-term collaboration between designer Andrea Mancuso and architect Emilia Serra. Their different backgrounds have allowed them to experiment a visual language able to explore at the same time both the space and the objects. Analogia Project is a fictional interpretation of design that integrate a real space with unreal entities exploring the consequential relationship between them.
Last works.
